On September 8 2017 the results of Yugra Black Gold Contest among oil and gas companies of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, coincided with Oilman Day celebration, were announced. Before the awarding ceremony SPD Chief Executive Officer Alexey Govzich attended the meeting of the government authorities and oil companies’ executives under the chairmanship of the RF Minister of Energy Alexander Novak devoted to challenged reserves development prospects.

 

Key criteria for selection of winners are maximum oil production volume increase, new operating facilities brought onstream, fixed assets growth, volume of tax transfers and payments to the Okrug budget, significant achievements in the implementation of advanced and environmentally efficient technologies in operations, as well as active participation in the region's social and economic life - all of these are the criteria that Salym Petroleum Development N.V. (SPD) traditionally meets, having confirmed the title of the contest winner in two nominations.

SPD ranks the second in category ‘’Social and Economic Partnership in KMAO in 2016” among companies having annual oil production over 5 million tons and ranks the second in category ‘’Most Dynamically Developing Vertically Integrated Company in KMAO in 2016”.

As per results of the Contest among companies having annual oil production over 5 million tons SPD ranks the second in two categories:

  • “Most Dynamically Developing Vertically Integrated Company in KMAO in 2016”
  • “Social and Economic Partnership in KMAO in 2016”.

 

Awards to contest winners and prize-winners were presented by the Governor of Yugra Natalia Komarova.

 

SPD Chief Executive Officer Alexey Govzich stated, "SPD success in Yugra Black Gold Contest based on the company’s operation performance in the past year is a prove of the company’s right strategy and sustainable development, progress towards the goals. Besides aforementioned company’s achievements, Nikolai Kislov, SPD oil and gas operator, grade 5, became the contest prize winner in category “Best Oil & Gas Operator”.
