Once again, SPD has proved its status of a socially responsible corporate citizen and a dynamic and growing company.
On 27 August, 2019, while celebrating the Oil and Gas Industry Workers’ Day, a number of significant events took place in Khanty-Mansiysk. The industry has summed up its annual results. The top professionals prize- and award-winners of the Yugra Black Gold Contest among the oil and gas companies of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug –Yugra were awarded during a gala ceremony.
According to the contest results Salym Petroleum Development N.V. (SPD) took the 2nd and 3rd places among companies in the following nominations:
- “For Social and Economic Partnership in KhMAO in 2018”
- “The Most Dynamic Vertically Integrated Company in KhMAO in 2018”
Yugra Governor Natalya Komarova presented the awards to the award- and prize–winners.
Denis Paramoshin, SPD Field Manager, said: “These awards are an excellent present on our professional holiday. They prove that our company is dynamic, growing, and adhering to the principles of social responsibility and partnership. This is a token of appreciation for our contribution to the economy of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and to the national economy as a whole. These awards agglomerate inputs of every company employee, of a solid team marked by such professionals as Sergey Pribytkov, who has received a personal award at the contest.”
“Success achieved in 2018 became a foundation for new key projects, implemented by the company this year. It also laid a cornerstone for further dynamic development. SPD actively widens its resource base and increases production volumes, moving ahead towards its strategic goal. Bringing traditional resources and deeper horizon into development stage together with non-organic increase will ensure fulfillment of our ambitious goals set forth by Strategy 2025 in the area of safety, oil production, costs and innovations,” Yaroslav Gorbachev, Chief Geologist said.
Apart from corporate awards, Sergey Pribytkov, SPD CPF Operator (Oil-pump operations) 6th category, became a prize winner, taking the 3rd place in the personal nomination “Best Oil Preparation and Transportation Operator”. With his personal participation, upgrade of oil preparation unit and putting into operation of a produced water pump station was carried out.
Prior to the awards ceremony Denis Paramoshin, SPD Field Manager and Yaroslav Gorbachev, Chief Geologist took part in the conference “Incentives to Implement Tertiary Methods to Enhance Oil Recovery under the Current Russian Taxation System”. The conference was chaired by Dmitriy Kobylkin, RF Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology. Among those present were Anton Inyutsin, RF Deputy Energy Minister, Natalya Komarova, Yugra Governor, heads of government agencies and oil and gas CEOs. The conference discussed the future of the project to create the West Siberia Information Platform to enhance oil recovery as well as support of investment attractiveness of oil projects and required taxation system modifications.Back to
